2025 Iona Berry Memorial and Wanda Long Financial Hope Scholarships
The Iona Berry Memorial Scholarship Application and Wanda Long Financial Hope Scholarship period is from January 1, 2025 until March 31, 2025.
It is the first year we are offering the "Wanda Long Financial Hope Scholarship". This scholarship recognizes Wanda's outstanding years of service, contributions and dedication to our organization and it's members. It aims to recognize her commitment to service excellence and the impact of financial coaching and education during her employment with Nova Credit Union. By supporting our financially challenged students, we continue Wanda's legacy of empowering them to reach their financial goals and dreams. The Scholarship will award a $1,000 scholarship to a member who demonstrates financial need and is enrolled as a full-time student for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
The Iona Berry Memorial Scholarship was established in 2003, as a way to assist our members who want to further their education. The independent Scholarship Committee can award three $1,000 scholarships, and four $500 scholarships per year. These scholarships will be awarded to student members who demonstrate academic excellence, involved in community service, and are enrolled as a full-time student for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
Applicants can apply for both scholarships, but must submit separate applications and essays pertaining to each scholarship, and must have their own Nova CU account! If you do not have your own account, join online now or visit any branch. You may not use your parents' account number as your member number.
